Culinary Chef
A Miami native, Richard Ingraham was reared in Carol City and became a food enthusiast at an early age. Possessing a gift for crafting savory cuisine, Ingraham’s formal training began in 1997 at the Art Institute of Atlanta. It was there, Ingraham began establishing his personal signature blend of seasonings, cooking techniques and plate presentations under the vigilant eye of world renowned Executive Chef Peter Kaiser. Shortly after graduating in 1999 with his degree in Culinary Arts, he prepared meals under the guidance of Executive Chef Pete Pavisec.
Chef Richard Ingraham has worked in several restaurants under the tutelage of great chefs such as; Executive Pastry Chef David Robins and Executive Chef Matthew Rosekrans. After his experiences with Chef David Robins and Chef Matthew Rosekrans he went on to become Executive Pastry Chef and Executive Sous Chef at Insignia Restaurant.
A recipient of the 2006 Teacher of the Year Award and 2007-08 Dade County Teacher of the Year Finalist, Chef Ingraham is highly celebrated for his exceptional culinary education curriculum and is consistently honored for his work with the homeless and South Florida’s youth. Today, he is personal chef to the Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade and has also prepared meals for executives of company’s such as Black Enterprise, Knight Ridder, Vibe Vixen, and more. His selflessness and willingness to share his gift with others is what makes him shine. |
